My game is crashing/freezing

If you’re experiencing any Crashing or Freezing issues with your game we recommend first trying the following workarounds:

 

Check if your GPU Drivers are up to date

You can refer to the links below depending on what GPU Brand you are using:

• AMD autodetect: https://support.amd.com/en-us/download

• Nvidia Autodetect: http://www.geforce.com/drivers (Click “Auto-Detect your GPU”)

 

Repair the Game Client

 

For Steam Client

Step 1: Launch Steam.

Step 2: Go to the Library tab in Steam and select the game you want to fix.

Step 3: Right Click on the game and click on Properties.

Step 4: Select the Local Files tab.

Step 5: Click on Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

Step 6: Wait for Steam to validate your game’s install if it finds anything wrong with it those files will be re-downloaded and installed.

Step 7: Click play and Steam will re-install and launch your game.

 

For Epic Game Launcher

Step 1: Navigate to the Fuser in your Library and click on the three dots.

Step 2: Once open, click Verify in the drop-down navigation.

Note: Depending on the size of the game it may take a few minutes to verify all your files. Once it completes click Launch to start your game.

Crashing and Freezing issues can sometimes be caused by 3rd party programs interfering with the game client. If you’re experiencing crashing or freezing we recommend you try disabling all 3rd party programs to see if it has any effect on your issue.  To do so you can reference the KB article listed Here

 

Open a ticket

If none of these steps were helpful to you please open a support request with the Technical Support department. We recommend that first you run a DXDIAG and attach those results to your support ticket.
